This past Thursday, Cori and I took a half day and drove up to Blowing Rock, NC (about 2 hours north of Charlotte)...her parents just built a house up there and we went to play golf (and tennis) with her parents and brother! It was so fun and definitely great to be in the mountains...it was so much cooler than the Charlotte 100s we were experiencing last week! Even though it was a short trip, we packed alot of stuff in...what a fun cute town with great shopping and boutiques in the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina...I only wish I had gotten some good scenic pics...they wouldn't do it justice! oh well...next time!

Cori's mom and Cooper (her brother, Stan's dog) who i secretly want to come live at our house...but since i can't keep Cori's plants alive when she is gone, i don't think she is going to let me have an actual animal around. :(
